Finding the drama hidden in infrared photography

The exciting thing about infrared photography is that I really have no way of knowing the exact outcome of the final product. For me, this is an appropriate metaphor for life itself right now. Infrared photography challenges me to pursue the image, even if I don’t know for sure whether it will turn out excellent, just OK, or a total dud. This lake looked nothing like this to the naked eye on the day I was there. But, I now have my own private interpretation.
